Hitecastro are delighted to announce that Sirius Optics in Queensland Australia have been appointed as our newest member of the Hitecastro dealer family. As well as stocking some of our best selling Hitecastro goodies, the guys have an extensive range of other astro products so please do take a look at whats on offer on the website.
Sirius optics are currently stocking our Mount Hub Pro, USB Guider, HitecDCFocus and EQMod units, please contact the guys at sirius optics for the supply of these products. For all other Hitecastro products our Australian customers can contact us direct. We regret that from today we can no longer supply customers directly with items stocked by sirius optics.

Hitecastro are delighted to announce the release of our latest product. FocusMaster is a high quality digital focus controller for stepper motor based focusers. FocusMaster includes inbuilt temperature compensation. An external temperature sensing probe is included. Also included is comprehensive operating software, and ASCOM 6 compliant driver and full documentation. All of this is available for download from our support area. We have extensively tested the autofocus ability of this unit and we find that FocusMaster is capable of autofocusing even an F/11 14" SCT right to the limit of the seeing conditions (using free FocusMax software). We are very excited about this product and we hope you will be too.

The Bubble Nebula NGC 7635 in Cassiopiae. Image taken with Skywatcher 80ED scope Skywatcher EQ5 mount, Hitecastro USB Guider, SX Lodestar guider, HTA (Prototype) Basic stepper focuser, HTA single channel dew controller. 15 x 900secs with HA filter. - Simple install. Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7 will automatically recognise it and install a base driver.
- ASCOM driver allows USB Guider to be used by any software package which can leverage the ASCOM standard for guiding.
- All outputs are optically isolated to ensure that your mount and PC do not interfere with each other.
- A diagnostic mode allows you to see what the device is actually doing this can be used by you as part of the diagnostic process for autoguiding.
- Includes a 2m ST4 compatible. Manual and ASCOM driver are now downloadable
Our exhaustive testing process have shown this device to be very stable and accurate.
